Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Overview:

XIFIN, Inc ® provides a web-based application that provides an accounts receivable and financial management solution for medical laboratories.   

The Customer Service Representative plays a key role to ensure that our customers can accurately bill for laboratory services and then collect for their services in a timely manner.  This 40-hour a week Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides telephone support to our customers between 6am and 7pm Pacific time Monday through Friday to answer questions, help solve technical and functional issues, identify missing/incorrect data and correct the data in the customer’s environment. XIFIN is seeking an experienced CSR to assist in the day-to-day activities required to provide exceptional support to our customers.

Supervisor:  Director of Customer Service

 

Specific duties include, but not limited to:

  • Answer customer telephone calls

  • Troubleshoot customer issues and escalate as needed

  • Assist in customer training

  • Check on Submission and Remittance activity for each customer

  • Review payor rejections and take appropriate actions

  • Perform payor setups

Required skills/Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate

  • Knowledge of medical billing

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Willingness to learn the XIFIN application

  • Appreciation for the importance of customer service

  • Self starter with good communication skills, team player

  • Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced environment

  • Experience with PCs and PC tools (Excel, Word)

Desirable:

  • 2 Year Associate degree preferred

  • Prior experience with Internet applications

  • Knowledge of lab billing
